Week Without Violence 2025

Every day, families in our community face impossible choices between safety and survival. Because of supporters like you, YWCA Greater Cincinnati is there with shelter, resources, and hope.

Since 1978, when we opened Hamilton County’s first domestic violence shelter, YWCA Greater Cincinnati has remained the only provider serving Hamilton, Clermont, Brown, and Adams counties. In 2024, 45% of the individuals in our shelters were children. With your continued support, we can ensure these children grow up surrounded by safety and stability—rather than fear.

From October 20–24, 2025 we will join YWCA’s global movement to end violence against women and girls. This year’s theme, Safe Beginnings: Protecting Mothers, Nurturing Futures, highlights how your generosity changes lives—providing families with safe housing and helping break down the barriers that keep individuals trapped in abusive relationships.
